Hi there! My name is Amanda Bekolay . I grew up in the small town of Clavet, Saskatchewan where I attended pre-school all the way to high school graduation in 2002. I have a curiously adventurous nephew that sparked my interest in childhood development.
I have many interests which include comic books, crafts, videogames and cross stitching. I live in Saskatoon with my boyfriend James who is a local comic book artist. We have been co-writing comic books aimed at children that teach the alphabet and counting as well as coloring books.
I am currently attending classes at Saskpolytech where I plan to obtain my ECE level III.
My name is Divjot Kaur (Simmi) . I am from India and I have been in Canada for 5 years. I love being around children and seeing the world through their eyes. I also believe that early childhood is the most magical phase of life and being educators we can make it more beautiful by loving and caring for children unconditionally. When I am not working I like to video chat with my parents, read books and volunteer in old age home care centers.
Hi my name is Tori. I just completed my Early Childhood Education Level II certificate and plan to work towards level lll. I am originally from Calgary and moved to the land of living skies in 2012. Along with my passion for working with children I enjoy exploring nature, painting, doing yoga,
reading poetry and kayaking with my dog.
In 2016 I completed the Early Childhood Education Level II course at Sask Polytechnic. I am a family oriented person: you will always find me with my family or close friends. I have a dog named Thor who is like my child. He is as active as I am: we spend every Saturday at the dog park. In the summer, I spend most of my weekends at Memorial Lake. I have a great appreciation for nature and all it has to offer. I chose Early Childhood Education as my career because I have a passion for working with young children, to help them become the best that they can be. I believe that children are capable and competent learners and they deserve the best opportunities to grow and discover who they are and the world around them. I am honored that I get to help them along their journey.

I have recieved my Early Childhood Educator certificate, and have been in the field for the past 4 years. I grew up in a small town in southern Saskatchewan.
My name is Corie Wiebe and I am originally from Swift Current, Saskatchewan. I moved to Saskatoon in 2008 to attend the University of Saskatchewan, where I would complete a B.A. Double Honours (in English and philosophy). It was also here that I met my husband, Mark Hamilton - and began to put together my "Happily Ever After".
Together, Mark and I have two children. We have a precocious 3 (almost 4!) year old boy who lives for snuggling and Minecraft, and a firecracker of a 1 year old little girl who lives for danger and getting into whatever her older brother is doing. Nothing truly prepared me for how difficult and rewarding parenting would be. There are no breaks, but when you so deeply believe in what you're building the time is well spent.
It was during my second maternity leave that I began considering a career change. I loved where I was but I wanted more freedom to focus on my family. As I learned more about parenting and my own children I began to feel I was not in the right place career-wise and that I would prefer more education on the development of these amazing little people. An opportunity to take an ECE course led to a discussion with the management at my own son's daycare (here, at PCDC!) where I was offered a job which was conveniently opening up just as my maternity leave came to an end.
So here I am, learning the path I'm supposed to be on and eager to follow this new adventure with these amazing little people!
I recieved my Educational Assistant Program from SIAST Kelsey Campus. I have always enjoyed working with children and knew I would make a career out of it. When I am not working I enjoy spending my time with my family, and two dogs Striker and Henry.

In 2017 I received my certificate as an Educational Assistant and I recently obtained my level one in Early Childhood Education. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my fur babies and family.
